Do you want to house an award-winning filmmaker? LBIFF is bringing in filmmakers by the dozen for the annual film festival and we need somewhere for them rest their creative minds. Most filmmakers will be attending screenings and events all day and night. They just need a warm bed and welcoming host.
Before and during our August festival, LBIFF brings in specialized staffers, filmmakers and VIPs from around the world, and we are always in need of places for them to stay.
Depending on guests length of stay, you'll receive TWO ALL ACCESS FESTIVAL PASSES* ($499 value/each) to attend this years Festival. Good for Opening Night Gala, Celebrity Tribute, Evening Parties, Access to Filmmakers Lounge to enjoy fine food, wine, craft beer and cocktails throughout the festival, Closing Night and Wrap Party. *Additional Festival passes available for those contributing entire 2+ bedroom/bathroom Apartment or Home for multiple nights.
Our Housing Host Program provide a valuable insight into other cultures, whilst providing a home-away-from-home to visitors from outside of the area and most often, far away parts of the world. It is a great way to help the cultural community.
Your support as Housing Host also helps us provide travel and lodging to young artists who might not be able to capitalize on this experience without our help.
